 Check out prices here!!

Oxygen therapy can be an intimidating addition to your life, but it doesn't have to keep you at home. When traveling for work or for vacations it is important to have proper planning, you can still enjoy the independence and adventure of travel. Experts in home oxygen therapy help make travel easier for their COPD patients with the following checklist.

Four to six weeks before you travel
-
Make all arrangements as far in advance as possible, especially if you are booking air travel.
-
When booking your ticket, let your travel agent or air, cruise, train, or bus line know that you will be traveling with oxygen. Make sure you know their oxygen policies and all associated costs.

At a minimum, you must inform the airlines forty-eight hours in advance of your check-in time.
-
If you will be staying in a hotel, motel or bed & breakfast, inform the booking agent that you will be bringing oxygen with you. Most importantly, be sure to let them know if you are expecting oxygen to arrive at the hotel in advance of your arrival.

Three weeks before you travel
-
At least three weeks before you travel, contact your home oxygen provider and ask for help in arranging oxygen tanks and supplies while you are on the road. There are several equipment options to accommodate your travel needs. Your oxygen provider should be able to guide you. Be prepared with the following information:
a. Dates of your planned travel
b. Destination(s) of your travel plans
c. Are you flying? If yes, what airline? Or by train? Bus? Etc.
d. What is the total flight time from gate to gate?
e. If you are not flying, how are you traveling?
f. Are you planning to use a CPAP or Bi-Level device while traveling?

Two weeks before you travel

- Talk to your doctor about traveling.
- If you are flying, get a signed statement or prescription from your physician that includes:
a. When oxygen use is necessary (on all or a portion of the trip)
b. For air travel, maximum flow rate corresponding to the pressure of the cabin under normal operating conditions

One week before you travel

- Confirm all details with your oxygen equipment supplier, hotel and travel agent, airline or other travel provider.

While you are traveling
-
Remember: NEVER take your own home oxygen tank on board any aircraft of any kind. Your oxygen equipment supplier and airline will provide you with specific equipment options and guidelines.
- Make sure to take all of your contact numbers for your physician and oxygen equipment provider.
- If you are flying, arrive at the airport early. Airport security screeners may require extra time to inspect your equipment.

Oxygen therapy does not have to turn you into an armchair traveler. A little careful planning can give you back the joy and independence of travel. Hopefully, this article gives you the information you need to travel with joy and independence.

Questions? Ask your doctor or home oxygen provider.

Passport Holders ~ Cover your Passport for Safety & Style

Rafe New York - Conduit Passport Wallet (Dark Brown) - Bags and Luggage

What is a Passport Holder anyway? A passport holder or wallet is a slim cover that you place around your passport to protect it as well as uniquely identify it. Passport holders are also called passport covers or passport wallets and you can find them under any of those names. You can easily buy them online.

Why use a passport holder to cover your passport? Here are 4 top reasons to use a passport holder to cover your passport.

1. Security
2. Style
3. Distinction or Differentiation
4. Maintenance and Preservation

The number one reason to cover your passport is Security. Your passport is your most valuable document, especially when traveling abroad and you want it to be protected. If you're traveling in areas where the population is really poor there may be a lot of pickpockets and thieves who want that passport because it could be worth years of income on the black market! It's a survival issue and morals go out the window. Best to protect yourselves and loved ones by disguising your passport to look like a notebook or other reading material.

Many people buy leather or very extravagant passport covers which is so opposite to their purpose. The idea is to have a simple sturdy passport cover with a beautiful, artistic but non-descript design. 11:11 Enterprises makes their designs with these considerations in mind. Artistic and fun designs can throw off would-be thieves.

The second reason to cover your passport is simply fun. Having some style about the most fun thing you can do, travel is what it should be all about. Travel can be so serious these days with the world in the state that it is.

Airport security and all the hoops that a traveler has to jump through to get to their fun destination can really take the juice out of travel. A stylish passport holder can be a load of fun and take the seriousness and constant tension out of what should be totally enjoyable experience.

The third reason to cover your passport with a stylish holder is distinction or differentiation. When traveling overseas you frequently have to turn your passport in to hotel clerks or border security or even at airports.

Since all passports from each country look the same, having a passport holder to cover your passport can set yours apart from the crowd and make the trip easier, rather than sorting through stacks of passports, opening the jacket and wasting time trying to find your passport. Often times this is the case when families travel together.

That wasted time is compounded while trying to get passports back for the whole family, especially children. Travel can be tough on younger children who get tired and the last thing you need is to spend another fifteen minutes to a half an hour trying to get your passports together while children are crying and screaming.

Finally, you want to maintain and preserve your passport from the elements. Travel often involves going to remote areas or traveling through weather. A good passport holder which covers your passport can extend the life of that precious document. Again, there are many different types of covers out there. The kind which is made by 1111 Enterprises is very popular because it is lightweight because it's made from recycled materials which are laminated in a sturdy plastic which resists water and stains and keeps your passport like new throughout your travels.

How to Choose A Wedding Cruise Service

Wedding tours are meant to give the nuptial a touch of class and elegance. They could be in the form of a present that a bridegroom gives the bride. In Toronto, these are not an exception for a memorable culmination to the ceremony and are utilized in great proportions by wedded or engaged couples looking to celebrate their love.

Choosing a Wedding Cruise

These tours are widely accessible since the service providers are well located close to harbors and many of these tour lines offer their services here. Since all the brides would like a fairly exceptional ceremony and subsequent events, it is advisable to choose a tour line that offer quality service. Most of these tour may be expensive thus one should budget well for this.

Additionally, one should ensure that the tour line they choose offers reputable services and value for the funds disbursed. Thus, one should adequately research on these before embarking on one. One of the factors that a person should consider when choosing a Toronto wedding cruise is catering. The food offered on board should give an impression of elegance to the nuptial. This includes presence of services like buffet, cocktails and customized menus. There should be fast service and the bar should have the customer preferences, which should be availed at the request of the guests. The décor too should be give the impression of a exceptional ceremony by having stunning seating, flowers, balloons and other forms of decoration.

Wedding Cruise Services

The Toronto marriage cruise gives a change from the common banquet halls and creates a unique wedding event, which is fun to the guests and to the bridal party. The nuptial cake too should be offered in the package of the tour. It should look spectacular and the taste should be to the couple's expectations. Other factors that a person should consider are the additional services that the Toronto wedding cruise offers in the tour package. These are services like entertainment, the photography too should be considered to ensure that the day is remembered days after it has passed.

Advantages of a Wedding Cruise

Some tour lines are custom designed and these offer an exceptional experience since the couple's ideas are incorporated in the planning thus the tour is planned to encompass their preferences and tastes. A marriage ceremony on a ship on Lake Ontario is just the perfect place for photography since one captures the background of the CN Tower and there is a nice coverage of the city's skyline.

One can hold a night party on the tour on the backdrop of the city's stunning skyline. The award winning cuisine that is offered in a Toronto wedding cruise adds to the reasons why a person would want a marriage during the tour. A nuptial cruise gives a change of atmosphere and it feels like a break from the traditional ceremonies. It gives an ecstatic feeling when a couple recites their vows on the ship.

For the best wedding cruise, one should plan early and this gives the bridal party enough time to finalize all the plans. These include booking, accommodation and transport.

How to get an Unforgettable Honeymoon with a Limited Budget

The thought of getting  unforgettable honeymoon travel is not wasting illogical budget. Such  traveling does not always mean spending a big amount of money. What makes it ~ is your spouse right? That would always be nice enjoy time together with the one and only . So now, the first thing you should do is set a budget, go to a travel agency and find the best package with the lowest cost that they offer.
Have you set the time for this travel and when will it be? Will it be a day, a week or a month after your wedding party? The most important thing is to plan it beforehand. Make sure that your  reservations  are no less than 3 to 6 months in advance.

Where are you going for your honeymoon ?  Beach, lake, skiing, hiking or historic tours, mountain climbing.  You need to know the season of your travel  to avoid getting trapped by the wrong  climate. If this happens, your honeymoon will be unexciting, tedious and boring and the only thing you'll want is to go home as soon as possible.

For that reason, always arrange it earlier to get the best season for it.

If you manage to have it a day or soon after your wedding party, you need to make sure not to check in your wedding dress at the airport. It would be better for you to carry it during the flight with you. I am sure that you do not want to depart at the destination and do not know where your dress is. It will be enormously annoying. Then you might start thinking about silly things, like losing your wedding dress is the sign for you not getting married. You might also be entirely gloomy during the whole honeymoon travel. So, take your wedding dress with you during the flight, please.

Not only your dress, you also need to keep all your important documents with you. Put them all in your handbag and always keep them in your hands and do not leave them in the hands of airport officials. Just keep in mind, when your luggage is missing, what you get is confusion and feeling that you lose a part of yourself.

Stress-free Honeymoon

In my opinion, every couple who plans to tie the knot should plan for three things at least: a) the wedding (quite obviously); b) family life (again, a given); and c)... the honeymoon.

Let us explore a bit the relationship of this three. Family life, at least in the Philippines, mostly would require marriage. A good family plan includes this critical ceremony. This is the consummation of sleepless nights, long talks over the phone (or texts), emails, and what-have-you. But if you want to get off on a good... no, GREAT start, there's the honeymoon.

Honeymoon comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes, so to speak. And starting off on the right foot requires that we wade through all the honeymoon packages being offered by different travel agencies, hotels and resorts, and even wedding planners.

What are the things to consider while planning that first magical week with your recently acquired life partner?

1. Know thyself. Two become one so it's really not you alone anymore who gets to decide (unless of course you want to pull a fast one and sweep your sweetie off his/her feet). What is it that characterizes you? What is it that you want? These are some questions you need to settle.

For example, you want to stay close to your roots and have this as a theme to celebrate your love while staying romantic, relaxed, and hopefully reinvigorated after months of preparation for your wedding. You want a destination that you both will enjoy, without spending  too much.

2. Once you got #1, decide on the best honeymoon destination. In our example, you want your honeymoon to be here in the Philippines, in one of its grandest beaches-BORACAY. Honeymoon destinations matter a lot as it sets the atmosphere for a romantic getaway. You can say that every day is a honeymoon but really, it can only happen once and you want this to be special.

3. Iron out the details. How many days will it take? Do you have the budget? What are you in for? Honeymoon isn't just hugging and cuddling, you might want to get to know each other a little deeper. Why not go island-hopping, snorkelling, and jet-skiing. After which, you get a relaxing massage or aromatherapy.

4. Take care of the logistics. You can always book yourselves airline tickets, hotel reservations, etc. But why ruin the honeymoon romance with that? Leave it to the expert. Taking care of these things could be as easy as ABC. Just give your travel agency a call or send them an email and they'll take care of this for you.

5. Lastly, the early bird gets the worm. There are certain benefits to doing everything early... or at least these two things. One is to plan early. You do not need honeymoon planning get in the way of the actual wedding planning. You are doing yourself a disservice if the details of these two events get mixed up. Second is to book early. You will be saving serious money by booking your airline tickets and hotel reservations way ahead of time. Also, you may ask your travel agency if they have available promo in your chosen honeymoon destination.

Remember, you need not subject yourself to stressful planning. There are travel agencies that could handle this for you.

Top Honeymoon Top Spots

Vacation days come with the job for a reason. Your ability to stay focused and enthusiastic about your work will ultimately determine both its quality and your quality. With the shaky conditions of the economy, it might seem as though there's just no time to take off, but in some cases, you'll need to for the sake of sanity.

The same trend is bleeding through to honeymoons. Where once newlyweds were departing on week-long exotic honeymoon vacations, trend is now watching them remain closer and closer to home in an effort to stay in connect with their work. Not only is this ir to the person taking off the time from work, but for that significant other who has to compromise.

Transitioning from a six-day workweek, to a seven-day honeymoon vacation might seem like another commitment from a seemingly long list, but there are no rules that bar you from keeping your Blackberry in tote.

Those who do eventually secede to the concept of time off return, and take their exotic honeymoon vacation, return with a fresh perspective to their job; refreshed and ready to tackle it head on.

In a fit of recollection, Andrew Edson, who owns his own PR firm in New York, describes a time where he managed the office of another firm.

"I was the idiot," Edson said, "I felt you had to be around and watch over people... You don't have to be a micro-manager," he persisted, "you can reach someone by e-mail or telephone."

When all is said and done, taking off time from work should not be a bet - will you still have that client or that desk when you return-because if you are good at what you do,  the answer will always be a resounding, "Yes."

Tips on Buying Annual Travel Insurance

After you've bought single trip holiday insurance once too often, it can be tempting to turn to annual travel insurance instead. The benefits seem numerous - less cost, less hassle, and many optional extras - yet committing to an annual travel insurance policy isn't to be done lightly. You need to make sure it is the right policy for you, and that you can get it at a price that saves you money. These are a few of the questions that you should ask yourself before buying annual travel insurance...

Do You Need It?

Travel insurers are always trying to persuade people to shell out for annual travel insurance, and with good reason - it's usually the best deal. But it isn't for everyone. Be honest with yourself - it may not be possible to predict exactly how many holidays you are going to go on, but try and have a rough estimate in mind. Figure out approximately how much it will cost you to get single trip insurance for each of these holidays, and then do the math. If you are likely to make big savings on annual travel insurance, then it makes sense to buy it. If you are only going to manage one or two short holidays in the year, it might be worth buying insurance for each individual trip.

Of course, it is also worth remembering that annual travel insurance will cover you for numerous trips you might not bother getting insured for usually (weekend breaks and so on), and can offer you the peace of mind of constant year round cover. You may well consider it worth paying a little more for this privilege.

What Are the Extras On Offer?

...and are they actually of use? It's easy to be seduced by all the free extras that are packaged with many annual travel insurance policies, but it is important to be realistic - free golf insurance isn't any good to you if you've never set foot on a golf course! Look out for genuinely useful deals - free winter sports cover if you are a keen skier, free child cover if you often travel with your family, and so on. If a slightly more expensive travel insurance policy offers extras that are going to save you money in the long run, that may be the one to go for.

Have You Read the Small Print?

It goes without saying that shopping around is the best way to go with annual travel insurance, and comparing the best deals via online comparison sites is a great way to get an idea of what policies are out there. But before you choose the one with the lowest price, take a very careful look at its terms and conditions.

Different travel insurance policies will have different levels of cover. Look very carefully at the terms and conditions of key policy areas. Under what circumstances will the policy refund you if you cancel a holiday? What level of cover is offered for your money and personal possessions? How high is the level of medical cover? What sports and activities does it cover? How about legal fees?

If the price is right and the cover is good, it is well worth buying annual travel insurance - but make sure you get the deal that is right for you.
